    This curry house is awesome!, they are mainly famous for the madras dishes!  they also make other dishes which are rare to find.. ie, Sheep Brain madras, trotters, chicken heart curry, and chicken kidney curry!
    This place is a must to try out, however the food can get addictive!

    I'm a vegetarian but not a squeamish vegetarian, so the unusual additions like kidneys and hearts on the menu at Popular balti didn't put me off.

    We're really spoiled on the Ladypool Road for indian food so a restaurant really needs to stand out and Popular Balti doesn't quite hit the mark. Everything I ate there was adequate enough and if it was a balti restaurant anywhere else I would probably be more generous with the rating but as it is on the champions row of balti houses there are other places that do the job better.
